Warranty Coverage
Labor Warranty
All repair work performed by Joe Garage Door Repair includes a 90-day labor warranty. If the same issue recurs within 90 days of our service, we will return and repair it at no additional labor cost.
Parts Warranty
Parts installed by Joe Garage Door Repair carry the following warranty coverage:
- Garage Door Springs: 1-year warranty on standard springs; lifetime warranty available on premium springs
- Garage Door Openers: Manufacturer's warranty (typically 1-5 years depending on model)
- Garage Doors: Manufacturer's warranty (varies by brand and model)
- Cables, Rollers, Hinges: 1-year warranty on parts
- Safety Sensors: 1-year warranty
- Keypads & Remotes: 90-day warranty
New Installation Warranty
New garage door and opener installations include:
- Full manufacturer's warranty on products
- 1-year labor warranty on installation
- Complimentary 30-day adjustment period for fine-tuning
What's Covered
Our warranty covers:
- Defects in materials or workmanship
- Parts that fail under normal use
- Installation issues caused by our technicians
- Return visits to address warrantied repairs
What's Not Covered
Our warranty does not cover:
- Damage from accidents, misuse, or neglect
- Damage from acts of nature (storms, floods, etc.)
- Normal wear and tear
- Repairs performed by others after our service
- Pre-existing conditions not addressed during service
- Cosmetic damage that doesn't affect functionality
- Damage from power surges or electrical issues beyond our work
How to Make a Warranty Claim
If you believe your repair is covered under warranty:

- Schedule Inspection: We'll schedule a technician to assess the situation
- Resolution: If covered, we'll repair or replace at no additional cost
Refund Policy
Service Call Fees
Our service call fee covers the technician's time to diagnose your issue. This fee is:
- Non-refundable once the technician arrives and performs diagnosis
- Typically waived if you proceed with recommended repairs
- Fully refundable if we cancel or fail to show for your appointment
Repair Services
Refunds for completed repair work are handled on a case-by-case basis:
- If we cannot resolve your issue, we will refund the repair cost
- If you're unsatisfied with completed work, contact us within 7 days to discuss resolution options
- Partial refunds may be offered for services that partially addressed the issue
New Installations
For new garage door or opener purchases:
- Cancellations before installation: Full refund minus any restocking fees
- Custom orders are non-refundable once ordered
- Installed products cannot be returned but are covered by warranty
How to Request a Refund
To request a refund:

- Explain the reason for your refund request
- Allow us the opportunity to resolve any issues first
- Approved refunds are processed within 5-10 business days
